Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and systems that support our technology operations. Ensure system reliability, scalability, and performance across various environments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions, troubleshoot complex issues, and continuously improve system architecture and processes. Play a key role in driving operational excellence and supporting the development lifecycle from planning to deployment. Duties:

System Design and Architecture:

Design and implement scalable, secure, and resilient system architectures based on business and technical requirements.

Evaluate and recommend hardware and software solutions to meet performance and reliability goals.

Collaborate with stakeholders to define system specifications and integration strategies.

Implementation and Configuration:

Deploy and configure servers, networks, and cloud infrastructure to support development and production environments.

Automate system provisioning and configuration using tools such as Ansible, Terraform, or similar.

Ensure systems are properly monitored, backed up, and maintained for optimal performance.

Troubleshooting and Support:

Diagnose and resolve system issues, including performance bottlenecks, outages, and security vulnerabilities.

Provide technical support to development and operations teams, ensuring minimal disruption to services.

Maintain documentation for system configurations, procedures, and troubleshooting guides.

Security and Compliance:

Implement and enforce security best practices across systems and networks.

Monitor for potential threats and vulnerabilities, and respond to incidents promptly.

Ensure systems comply with relevant standards and regulations (e.g., SOC 2, ISO 27001).

Continuous Improvement and Collaboration:

Identify opportunities to optimize system performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency.

Participate in post-mortems and retrospectives to improve infrastructure and incident response.

Collaborate with software engineers, DevOps, and IT teams to align infrastructure with application needs.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, plus 5 years of experience with:

Systems engineering and quality assurance;

Working in Agile/Scrum environments;

Analyzing the interconnections between different system components;

Planning, implementing, and managing projects; and

Linux and Windows operating systems, networking, and 1 of the following cloud platforms: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
