Senior SAAS enterprise sales position. First year salary fully funded.
We are starting to commercialize recent DARPA funded research and are seeking a very experienced SAAS sales person to develop and run the sales effort for this new product. DARPA has performed a thorough due diligence effort on the underlying technology and potential market. Based on that analysis they will be funding the first year's salary and the expenses to support the role. The initial market is primarily enterprise software development programs, both commercial and DOD facing.
This is very much a startup effort and the initial sales efforts must focus on development partners. Only the fundamental technology exists - we must design and build the platform, develop a customer support, write documentation, etc.
The core team has deep technical, program management, and consulting experience but not much experience relating to commercial business relationships. We are extremely invested in the success of this effort and will be excellent partners for the right sales person. We want -you- to succeed as well as the product and company.
New England residents or metro DC residents preferred, but we can be flexible. We've been working mostly remotely for years now but we also value time in person with white boards.
